Biggest Smartphone Lunch in June

1) LG G5

LG launched its first modular smartphone G5 in India this month. Priced at Rs 52,990, the main highlight of the smartphone is it's the modular body. LG G5 sports aluminum unibody modular design featuring a slide-out battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB UFS ROM with support for microSD cards of up to 2TB in size.



The modular smartphone has a 5.3-inch quad HD IPS Quantum display and dual rear cameras -- a standard 16MP and a wide angle 8MP, along with an 8MP front camera. The phone is backed by a 2,800mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

2) Sony Xperia XA Dual

Sony launched the Xperia XA Dual smartphone at Rs 20,990 earlier this week. The USP of the handset is its edge-to-edge display that has minimum screen bezels on the sides. The Android Marshmallow-based smartphone comes with 5-inch display, is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MTK6755) processor, clubbed with 2GB RAM.



It has 16GB of inbuilt support, which can expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. The NFC-enabled smartphone is backed by a 2,300 mAh battery and boasts of 13MP primary and 8MP secondary camera.

3) Oneplus 3


Oneplus launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 3 in India this month. The dual-sim smartphone is available on Amazon without invite system at a price tag of Rs 27,999. Running OxygenOS, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the OnePlus 3 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED Full HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.



Under-the-hood, it packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, clubbed with a massive 6GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It houses a 16MP Sony IMX298 autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilisation for better shots and videos, LED flash, and an 8MP Sony IMX179 front-facing camera.

4) Yu Yunicorn


Micromax brand Yu too launched its first smartphone with a fingerprint sensor and 4GB RAM earlier this month. Dubbed Yu Yunicron, the device is priced at Rs 12,999 and runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop).



It features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a micro-SD card. The handset sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

5) Motorola Moto G4


Motorola Moto G4 is the fourth generation of the Moto G series. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 12,499 and sports 5.5-inch Full HD display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Powering the device is a 1.5GH Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 3000mAh battery.



It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and has a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera.

6) Honor 5C 


Honor 5C is the company’s first smartphone to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device priced at Rs 10,999, is powered by Huawei's home-brewed HiSilicon Kirin 650 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of built-in memory. The dual-sim smartphone has a 5.2 inch Full HD display, finger-print sensor and 3,000 mAh battery.



It has a 13MP rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos and 8MP selfie camera.

7) Intex Aqua (With VR)


Intex entered the VR segment with the launch of Aqua View, its first VR smartphone. Priced at Rs 8,999, the smartphone features a 2.5D 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the smartphone has 2GB RAM paired with 16GB of in-built storage, and support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size.



It has an 8MP primary camera and 5MP selfie shooter. Having a 2,200mAh battery, the phone also features a fingerprint sensor.

8) Panasonic P75 


Panasonic P75 is the first smartphone of the company to pack a massive 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,990 and has a 5-inch HD display. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor.



It offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card). The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera.

9) Videocon Krypton3 


Videocon Krypton3 V50JG is the first smartphone of the company to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Priced at Rs 10,000, it features a 5-inch HD IPS screen and scratch-resistant DragontrailX Glass.




It is powered by MediaTek 64-Bit 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired up with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. The handset houses 3,000 mAh battery and 13MP rear and 5MP front camera.
